Along with Ricky Skaggs, the Claire Lynch Band is headlining the 2012 Bellevue Wintergrass Music Festival. On her way to that engagement, Miss Lynch is making a special stop to grace the stage of The Ellen Theatre. By any measure, the Claire Lynch Band is at the top of the bluegrass world's A-List, with musicians whose accolades include International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Female Vocalist of the Year and two Grammy nominations for Best Bluegrass Album (Claire); the MerleFest Doc Watson Guitar Champion (Matt Wingate); two IBMA Bass Player of the Year awards (Mark Schatz); and an unprecedented triple winner in Winfield, Kansas for fiddle/mandolin/guitar (Bryan McDowell). In addition, Lynch's harmonies have enriched the recordings of many stellar musicians, from Ralph Stanley to Linda Ronstadt.

Claire's musical direction dates back to the days of the Front Porch String Band, resulting in a seasoned sound that is simultaneously unpretentious and richly textured.
